Blog — Philippe Tabet.

The designer making his own rules.

Born in Versailles and trained in Lyon and Paris, Philippe Tabet has always had an eye for the stories objects can tell. In 2011, his curiosity for the soul of furniture led him to Milan—where design history lives and breathes. By 2014, he launched his own studio, dedicated to exploring the secret life of materials: how they bend, press, mould and ultimately shape the objects we live with.

Tabet’s work is a quest to uncover the “true nature” of each material, drawing inspiration from traditional manufacturing techniques and the timeless charm of objects from the past.
