Blog — The Toorak Townhouse

The skillset behind interior and architecture design firm, Melanie Beynon Studios, is made evident with their new project, a Toorak Townhouse.

This project fuses industrial elegance with thoughtful functionality. Featuring a refined palette of black steel, the dual living and study spaces are designed to coexist seamlessly. Decorative sliding doors fitted with acoustic hush glass, along with the linoleum flooring, enhance sound insulation both between and within the rooms, creating a serene atmosphere. We had the pleasure of furnishing the living space.

Lighting plays a central role in shaping the ambiance of the home, balancing functionality with warmth. Natural light is prioritized wherever possible, with strategically placed skylights drawing daylight deep into the interior and creating a calm, airy feel. The dining room reflects this, and we had the pleasure of furnishing this space.
