Introducing Grupa - a Croatian design studio and a lighting objects brand.

We first met Grupa (Filip Despot, Ivana Pavić, Tihana Taraba) several years ago when visiting Prostoria at one of their exhibitions in Milan.

In 2012, after a decade of being successful and award-winning designers, the Grupa studio decided to tell the other half of the story by becoming the manufacturers of their own products.

Today, Grupa is a showcase of everything that inspires them as designers; Grupa products are distinguished by innovative design, minimalism, functionality, and flexibility to one’s own choice.

The popular Monk collection by Grupa for Prostoria has now been extended to now include a counter stool, integrating modernist tradition and contemporary design.

Available to see, try and purchase in our showroom in two finishes, the Monk Counter Stool is also available to be customised; select from 29 metal colours as well as Prostoria’s extensive fabrics and leathers collection.

The Monk collection includes a chair, easy chair, and a chair with the central swivel base (fixed or with castors), two barstool models, dining table, bench, and low tables.

The Monk chair and easy chair were originally designed for the renovation of Hotel Dubrovnik in 201 – the collection can be customised in several ways to suit different needs and styles
